Connection & booking protection framework

Protection starts with records, verification, and responsibility on both sides.

DJForYourEvent.com is designing a documented process for qualifying connection problems and eligible marketplace bookings. Final coverage, credits/refunds, exclusions, limits, and dispute procedures will be published before they become active.

Connection review

Qualifying reports may include invalid contact information, a customer denying the request, duplicate requests, suspected fraud, or other failures defined by the active connection policy.

Customer-side records

Maintain records of the DJs who unlocked contact information, reported outreach, customer acknowledgements, quotes/terms when applicable, and reported outcomes.

DJ-side records

Maintain evidence of the connection, outreach status, customer response, reported problems, quotes/terms when applicable, and booking outcome.

Defined dispute process

Eligible disputes should be evaluated against documented facts and published rules rather than an undefined “trust us” policy.

A lost sale is not automatically a bad connection.

A verified customer can legitimately choose another DJ or decide not to book. Connection protection is intended for qualifying failures of the marketplace connection itself—not a guarantee that every paid connection becomes a job.

Development notice: DJForYourEvent.com is building these marketplace features in phases. Verification badges, connection fees, connection-review protections, booking protections, and payment handling will apply only when the corresponding feature is active and its requirements are satisfied. We do not claim that fraud can be eliminated completely.
