Trust & Verification

“Verified” should tell you what was actually checked.

Internally, our goal is to make the marketplace as “fake-proof” as practical through layered verification and two-way accountability. Publicly, we use specific, explainable trust signals instead of promising that fraud is impossible.

Mobile VerifiedThe account completed the required mobile verification step. The event exists or the person will definitely respond.

Layered trust—not one magic badge

Identity confidence

Email, mobile, organization email, identity checks when available, account history, and applicable risk signals.

Event confidence

Date, location, venue status, guest count, timeline, services, and completeness/plausibility checks.

Responsiveness confidence

Confirmed outreach, customer acknowledgements, DJ status updates, response patterns, and marketplace history can help establish whether both sides participate responsibly.

Same principle for customers and DJs.

Verification earns access; responsible behavior maintains trust. Customers are expected to keep requests accurate and respond to legitimate connections. DJs are expected to contact customers professionally, protect released information, and report outcomes accurately. Repeated abuse or non-responsiveness can be reviewed under the active marketplace policies.

Development notice: DJForYourEvent.com is building these marketplace features in phases. Verification badges, connection fees, connection-review protections, booking protections, and payment handling will apply only when the corresponding feature is active and its requirements are satisfied. We do not claim that fraud can be eliminated completely.
