Customer responsibility
Provide truthful event information, maintain working contact details, respond to selected/connected DJs, and close or update the request when circumstances change.
Customers and DJs share responsibility for keeping the marketplace useful. DJForYourEvent.com screens the opportunity, the DJ decides whether to connect, and both parties help confirm whether the connection worked.
Event details and required account/contact information are submitted.
Required customer, contact, event, and risk checks are completed before marketplace release.
Matched DJs see the opportunity and available trust signals without private customer contact information.
The DJ sees the connection fee and intentionally unlocks the customer's private contact information.
The DJ calls, texts, emails, or uses available marketplace messaging and records that outreach.
The DJ reports whether the customer responded. The customer can confirm whether the DJ's contact was received.
Conversation, consultation, quote, booking, hired-someone-else, no-response, invalid-contact, and other outcomes improve marketplace accountability.
Confirmed interactions and eligible bookings can contribute to meaningful trust and review history.
Provide truthful event information, maintain working contact details, respond to selected/connected DJs, and close or update the request when circumstances change.
Use released contact information only for the requested event, make professional contact, update the connection outcome, and report problems truthfully.
Screen before release, disclose what was actually verified, document the connection, collect feedback from both sides, investigate qualifying problems, and enforce published policies consistently.
If a DJ reports no response, the system can ask why. If the customer confirms the DJ contacted them, that matters too. Repeated patterns can help identify inactive requests, invalid contact information, misuse, or highly responsive marketplace participants.
Development notice: DJForYourEvent.com is building these marketplace features in phases. Verification badges, connection fees, connection-review protections, booking protections, and payment handling will apply only when the corresponding feature is active and its requirements are satisfied. We do not claim that fraud can be eliminated completely.
