Transparent marketplace economics
Pay for a verified connection—not an unvetted name and phone number.
DJForYourEvent.com plans to screen customers and event requests before private contact information is released. A DJ can review the opportunity and available trust signals first. A clearly disclosed connection fee applies only when the DJ chooses to unlock the customer's contact information.
Verified connection fee
The connection fee is charged when a DJ intentionally unlocks the verified customer's private contact information. The amount will be shown before the DJ confirms.
Contact release is the value event
Once contact information is released, the customer and DJ can communicate directly. The connection fee therefore applies even if they later continue the conversation outside DJForYourEvent.com.
Connection protection
We plan a defined review/credit process for qualifying problems such as invalid contact information, a customer denying the request, duplicate/fraudulent requests, or other failures covered by the active policy.
Shared accountability
Both parties have responsibilities after a connection.
Verification does not end when contact information is unlocked. The marketplace should learn whether the connection actually worked.
DJ responsibility
Contact the customer professionally, update the connection status, and report whether the customer responded. If there is a problem, choose the reason accurately rather than simply marking every lost opportunity as invalid.
Customer responsibility
Respond to DJs the customer asked to hear from, confirm whether contact was received, and update the request when a DJ is hired, plans change, or DJ services are no longer needed.
What the fee is—and what it is not.
The fee pays for access to a screened marketplace connection and the trust infrastructure supporting it. It is not a guarantee that every conversation will become a booking. A legitimate customer can still choose another DJ, change plans, or decide not to book.
